- Photosensitive resistance module has the most sensitive ambient light, generally used for detecting environment immediate of the brightness of the module light, trigger smc or relay, etc.
- Brightness of ambient light module can not reach the threshold of setting, do exit end of high-level, when light brightness of the external environment of the development of threshold, only to stop output low level.
- Output port can be directly connects to the single-chip microcomputer, through the single-chip microcomputer for detecting level up and down, so the change in intensity of the light of the test environment.
- End of output can directly drive the relay module, which can form a light switch – operated.
A photosensitive resistance detection sensor, or light-dependent resistor (LDR), changes its electrical resistance based on ambient light. Resistance decreases when light increases and rises when it gets dark. Modules typically feature an LM393 comparator, digital/analog outputs, and a sensitivity adjustment knob.
How It Works
- Light exposure: Resistance drops, letting more current pass.
- Darkness: Resistance increases, up to megaohms.
- Outputs: Provides analog (AO) for precise levels and digital (DO) for threshold triggers.
- Power: Operates safely on 3.3V to 5V DC
